While that is certainly NOT a lifetime, I have seen my fair share of changes.
I left the Industrial Construction field in 1992.. to pursue a better lifestyle.. for my children.
I went to work for Metro Audio Telecommunications soon after.. and that led to me where I am today.
The company changed names a few times, yet I was still servicing the same clients.. and that is how I became " The Phone Guy ".. no need in explaining.. 
I eventually applied for my own C7 low voltage Contractors license.. and away we went.
I have maintained, repaired, reconfigured or replaced hundreds of systems since then. The original 1A2 Key Systems.. ran the 25 pair cabling to the desks.. A, A1, Lamp Ground, Lamp, DT.  Those were replaced by 2 Pair systems.. for Voltage and Com.. eventually those were replaced by Single Pair Systems.. for both Voltage and Com..  and now.. here we are @ VoIP...  or what we refer to as RTC ( Real Time Communications ).. all Data Packets, streaming from end to end, w/ latency inhibitors, and jitter buffers..
Needless to say.. it is a whole new world once again. To that end we chose the company.. WILDIX.
WILDIX was founded in the UK.. in 2006.. and has since branched out to the United States... in Columbus Ohio. We have been WILDIX direct Partners since Dec, 2018.
